Hair Cutting Tips:
1. Never use the word cut in the word "Haircut"! (This may frighten the child).
2. Pack a change of clothes! (Your child may refuse to wear his or her cape. Please bring a change of clothes. This will help avoid itchiness).
3. Timing is everything! (Pick a time that works best for your child. Avoid taking your child to the salon when he or she is fussy).
4. Arrive Early! (This will help your child get comfortable with the atmosphere.)
5. If possible, allow your child to pick where he or she would like to sit or stand! (Sometimes, his/her haircut may not take place in a chair. The haircut can take place standing, at the train table, or on the couch, or he/she may feel comfortable with mom or dad holding them. Mrs. Natasha is open to all options to help you obtain the perfect haircut).
6. Try not to reward your child while he or she is getting their haircut.
7. Give the stylist/barber space! (This will allow them space to be able to work with your child).
8. Distract, Distract, Distract! (Distractions will shift the child's attention from the haircutting process).
9. Mrs. Natasha allows breaks! (Each child is different; some may need a break between their haircuts).
10. Mrs. Natasha celebrates your child! (Each child will receive a treat from the treasure box after his or her haircut for doing such a good job).
